September Newsletter

Starstruck Dancers and Families,

Welcome to a new season of dance!

Below is a list of important upcoming reminders and notices for special Starstruck events.

Please make sure you have paid your registration fee and first month’s tuition by September 14th.  If you still need to take care of this, you may drop your payments in the tuition box located in front of the office, or give them to Jen.  If you are taking part in automatic withdrawal (ACH), then your payment will be pulled on September 5th, and every month after on the 5th unless you notify us in writing that you want your ACH to be stopped. If you would like to begin an ACH account with us please notify us before September 16th.

This year Starstruck and The Cookie Dough Man are teaming up to offer you and your dancer a fun opportunity to raise money for your costume fees!  This fundraiser will be easy and helpful in so many ways.  The money that your dancer raises can be put towards their costume total.  If they raise more than the total costume amount, the funds can help pay for recital memorabilia later on and get them FREE cookie dough!!! Please look for more information coming soon!

For those participating in recital on June 8th, a costume deposit of $60 for each class, is due by November 9th.  There are options this year to either pay the deposit early, or add an additional amount to tuition payments that will be used as credit.  Please mark your payment and inform Jen or Sydney where the credit should be applied.  Please speak with Jen or Sydney if you have any questions or concerns.  If you participate in the automatic withdrawal, you can choose to have your costume deposit pulled as well!

We have had a lot of interest shown in Pointe lessons and want to let you know the  requirements in case this is a goal that you all want to accomplish!  Pointe is by invitation only.  You will need to have at least 5 years of continuous ballet, be at least 12 yrs old and show grace and strength within your dancing.  We mail invitations during the summer time.

Starstruck is participating in Boo at the Zoo from October 26-30, for the 3rd year in a row.  This is a fundraiser that helps the Lincoln Children’s Zoo feed the animals during the winter season.  Part of our participation is to hand out candy.  We are holding a candy drive now until October 22nd.  If you would like to donate candy, you may drop it in the tub located near the front desk.  Please leave your name and number of donations with Jen or Sydney, if you have the top donation, you will receive credit towards our dance barre!!!  And of course, come see us at the Zoo!!

Please be on the lookout for important newsletters located on our bulletin and white boards.  We will also be emailing and posting important information on our website.  Look for our “Star News” located near the front desk and also around the corner by the tuition box!  Please “Like” and follow us on Facebook and Twitter as another source for important information!

As usual, communication is very important to us. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns at any time, so that we can make your dancing experience the best it can be! We are here for you!

Thanks, Starstruck Staff
