I dance because I don’t know how to live without it. It’s something I’ve been doing since I was 3 years old. I’m always dancing around my house, in the grocery store, and choreographing to songs on the radio. There are so many facets of dance that intrigue me. At the same time, it can be challenging, calming, invigorating, emotional; you name it. I teach because I love testing the limits of the human body as well as the mind and I’m always eager to explore new ways to move. I love helping my dancers through their challenges, whether it be a bad day at school or a new move they’re trying to learn. It is so rewarding when I help my dancers achieve their goals. They push me to do better for them!
